USB storage device autodetect

    when i insert a usb key in to the usb port, windows xp auto-detects the mass storage device and automatically displays the contents in a window! is there anyway of disenabling this automatic window opening? or opening the window minimized, not maximised?

    Try holding down the Shift key as soon as you plug in the drive. Works for me :)
