I have a 32GB USB memory stick that records 19GB free memory is still available. What is the answer please!, when I try to save a 5.46GB file, a caption informs me that insufficient space is available in USB Memory Stick. I tried another USB Memory Stick, capacity 16GB, saving same file 5.46GB, result shows caption of insufficient space. Comments will be most appreciated.

This is a Hardware issue - not a mobile device - moved

If the USB stick is formatted FAT the max file size is 4 GB, hence your issue I suspect.

Format the stick NTFS and there will be no file size limit.

If you formatted the USB flash drive to NTFS and it is working as expected then I think this issue is resolved.

Did you try copying over that large 5 GB file to the flash drive to make sure that it works?

Evan Omo, my sincere thanks, your advice has corrected my error. I believed that on buying a new USB memory stick that it was correctly formatted to NTFS, this proved not to be the case. Now able to save files to the full capacity of the USB MS. You certainly learn something new every day from people like yourself, thank you.
