I tried to install a new wireless mouse with no success. The directions said that it would load the USB driver from my XP home system. When I clicked the search for driver the program searched and said the USB drive was missing an entry and could not be installed. The "yellow" sign appeared in the device manager under "Human Interface device" along with a correctly installed driver. I can not delete or disable the driver since all information says everything is working correctly. SP1 is installed amd my ps2 mouse is not connected. Any ideas. The system is a Dell 2350 and I read some Dell system USB ports do not have enough voltage to run some items. The two companies, Dell and Targus were no help

No specific ideas - all HIDs are cabled, but you should be able to remove/disable the device through Device Manager -

Expand the HID branch in Device Manager, right click on your Wireless device > disable/uninstall. Under propertes you can uninstall the driver.
