I bought two identical adapters which are switch-configurable to allow Nintendo64 and Sony Playstation controllers to be connected to a USB port. I connected one of each type of controller to an adapter, and the adapters into a USB 1.1 hub. The adapters' LEDs confirm both are getting power. The Win2000 Device Manager shows two HID game controllers.

But only one controller shows up in Gaming Options when both are plugged in, and I can't seem to add the same type of controller (and Refresh doesn't help either). Both controllers show up as a 4-axis, 16-button joysticks, and both work perfectly as long as only one is plugged in.

It would be convenient to have both plugged in at the same time, and then each game can be set to use the controller that works better for it. How can I get Win2000 to work with both controllers at the same time?

I think I'd be confused as to which one was used too. since they send identical signals. Might look on the web site for the controller...
