   i have a usb flash drive (256MB). now i have the following question:
   
   Does this flash drive requires formating, Disk Defregmentation and such utilities on a periodically basis ?
   
   I am asking this question because i use it a lot to transfer data from my work pc to my home pc.

   It basically acts like any other hard drive...
   
   Defrag would help "if" you open and save files off it on a regular basis.
