    Greetings!

Starting about a month ago every time I reboot my Windows 7 computer I get the message "USB Device Not Recognized" in a balloon down at the bottom right of my screen. I haven't added any new devices and all of the USB devices I have seem to be working properly. I've tried shutting down, unplugging non-essential USB devices and rebooting, but keep getting the same error. How can I find out what device is causing this error?

    Thanks!

    Brian

Hi Brian, Have a look in Device Manager and see if you have any Exclamation marks showing in USB. Neil.

For a start I would go to Device Manager and uninstall all USB Controllers and Root Hubs - reboot and let Windows detect and load the drivers again.
