I apologize if I'm re-hashing this. I'm trying to find out if my Dell has a USB 2 port. I can't find any info on my mother board. One of the threads talked about aida32, but that site is closed. Any other suggestions on how I can find out?

Hi CBS - here is the pathway to aida32 Enterprise Edition

    http://www.benchmarkhq.ru/english.html?/aida32_e.html

Once on this site click on the heading "Common" and then AIDA32 Enterprise Edition

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

Common | CPU | Hard Disk Drive | RAM | Hard Disk Drive 2
    Multimedia | Monitor | Network | Video | Misc | Monitoring | Online
    All
    Palm | Pocket PC
    -----------------------------------------------------------------

Common - a kind of "all-in-one ", here you'll find Sandra, AIDA, Dacris Benchmarks, and the such.

    AIDA32 Enterprise Edition
    OS: Win9x/Me/NT/2k/XP Download Homepage Rating: 5/5 - 2.9Mb
    Freeware
AIDA32 is a sysinfo/benchmark tool. It can reliably identify almost all hardware & software components, and gives you pretty much information about the computer. It can be considered as one of the best programs in its class! Highly recommended!

    ------------------------------------
    From this link http://www.lavalys.com/news.php?article=21&selcat=PN&lang=en
from Lavalys is another program called Everest Home Edition. It is just as great as aida32 and it's free.

CBS--right click on My Computer|Properties|Hardware tab|Device Manager|click the plus on Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Do any have the word "Enhanced" in their name? If so you have USB2.
P.S. Everest is Aida. Everest bought Aida about a year ago.

Aida32 has been replaced by Everest, now at version 1.51.
