upgrading USB 1-1 to 2.0 with pci card

    Hi, if you have an older dell motherboard ( model 4400 ) that only has 1.0 USB, can you install a 2.0 USB pci card to upgrade the data rate

    So long as you have a spare PCI slot - yes. Only the USB ports on the card will be USB 2 - your existing USB ports will stay at USB 1.
