Upgrading Office 2000?

    I have Office 2000 installed on my computer. I'd like to upgrade (to Office 2003). Will I need to uninstall Office 2000 prior to doing this or will the installation of Office 2003 remove it for me (or will it leave it in its own folder)? Obviously I've no need for both programs so it has to go. The question is: what is the best way of doing this? Thanks.:confused:

    There is no need to uninstall Office 2000 prior to installing Office 2003 - the installer will do the necessary for you and you will not end up with two installations. Note that none of the files you have created with Office will be removed.

    Once Office 2003 is installed visit Microsoft update (not Windows Update) or Office Update to download the Service Packs and security patches, etc.

    Glad you enjoyed looking at my images - those from the States were taken during 7 trips I made there between 1996 & 2001 - hope to return sometime soon :)
