Right now I have a old dell dimension XPS T450 desktop and I want to upgrade the CPU in it.

    CPU Type: Slot 1
Current CPU Speed: Pentium III @ 450MhZ

Wanting to upgrade to Pentium III @ 1.1GhZ

Basically the @450 (current) MhZ processor is the LOWEST speed they ever made Pentium III processors at. I want to upgrade my slot 1 with a slot 1-type Pentium III @ 1.1GhZ (the fastest they made pentium 3). Will it still work with all of my other components?

    Thanks!
    -Eric.

Only if that CPU is compatible with your motherboard - compatability is much more than slot type - bus speeds come into the equation too.

You will need to research which CPU's are compatible with the motherboard.
