I have upgraded from Windows XP Home to Vista Home Premium. MS told me that I had to leave XP on the drive whilst installation took place. Drive C has been partitioned, and Vista is now on Drive I (other drives are flash cards and USB HDD's), I want to delete all of info relating to XP, and then have everything on drive I transfer to Drive C, but am not allowed to delete the remaining XP Files. I tried the clean install, but wasn't able to, MS told me that XP had to be on the HDD before upgrading. System Dell Dimension 9160 2 Mb RAM 250 Gb HDD, now partititioned.

Any help much appreciated, many thanks

Start the Disk Cleanup tool, select to cleanup files from all users, and check Previous Windows installation(s) in the Disk Cleanup Settings.
