Updates Won't Install

    Each time I attempt to install MS Updates to my XP Pro, the system reports that the updates have not passed compatibility requirements and scuttles the update. How do I authenticate the MS updates in order to get up to date?

    That did the trick...thanks. My services.msc wasn't working so I had to reinstall XP to gain access to the crypto.
