update won't install

    :confused: I've repeatedly tried to install security update 331953 and it just won't go. Anybody know why this could be?

    Did you download it and try to run the install from your hard drive or try it from the web? Best is to do it from a local file.

    I just clicked on install from the web page. Didn't know I could choose where to install it from or where it would be. I,m searching for it now.

    OK. Found it. Opened it. Installation wizard came up then closed immediately and "Q331953 Setup Error" came up. Says " setup could not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic service is running on this computer." I went to services and apps. in control panel and it says crypt. is started...Hmm! I then deleted the file and started over with downloading it again. The results were the same....??????????Stumped!
