    Hi,
I've been trying to download updates 814033 and 331953. I have never had the slightest problem doing all previous updates, they've gone like clockwork, but these two!!@@!!@
Although they both are small files, they seem to take some time to download and when I hit install, within seconds I get the 'failed' message. The files are on my hard drive, but won't install. Anybody else have a problem with them? Any ideas? I haven't changed anything that I'm aware of.

    Hi, Rick ~

Right on! That fix will hold for other updates whereby the download fails or upon install you receive a message stating update already installed.

How on earth do you figure these things out Bruce? I did do a hunt on the MS site but nothing they came up with seemed to exactly fit my problem. As for hunting around in catroot files - I don't have enough life left to have figured that one out. Anyway thanks again, I've printed it off and stuck it in the rescue folder.
