    What driver, and why?
Normally, drivers don't need to be updated, unless there is something wrong with them.

what files you are trying to open ? it could not be a driver problem..it might be that specific program that is used to open that particular file you're trying to access and not the driver of your device... give more details..it's hard to guess.. :)

Welcome to the board crappieman - do you mind if we call you Monsieur sac-au-lait? (Its kind of like switching Sven and Ollie to Bodreaux and Thibadeaux.)

If you go to the Control Panel and click on Tools up at the top and then select Folder Options and then select the view tab, you can scroll down to Hide extensions for known file types and remove the checkmark. Save those setting and close out those windows we opened up. That will give you file extensions like .doc or .pdf or .wav and etc.

Now, let us know what the extension is on that file that you are having problems opening and perhaps we can help you figure this out.

    ;)
