up loading video

    using Photo Show ..trying to share my video..when I export my video and then it goes to uploading I get a message that there has been an up load failure..ck to see if you are still connected to the internet...I'm still on line but video won't up load...help...:confused:

    Where are you uploading your video to? Is it possibly there is an issue at their end?

    The site could be timing out. Try to upload a small video file as a test.

    I tried sending it to myself as well as another buddy or to the Coast Guard Community Channel

    If sending is by email then it may fail due to file size restrictions by your ISP. For example, my ISP limits messages to 10 MB.

    Please don't shout :)

    Often a server won't report such an error, but I agree entirely with Tony. If you're sending via email it's very likely to be a size restriction.

    I'll try reducing some of the pics....but it keeps telling me to ck to see if I'm still on line..in which I am....I use 2 e-mails addresses and it dosen't work on either one...nothing tells me video is over 10 MB...I'll keep working on it....I'll keep checking BBS to see if anyone else sends any info in....thanks

    Save the video to disk and check the size.

    Following from PeteC's post, there's nothing to say 10MB's is your limit (it may be less). Check with your ISP to see how large an email you can send (I've seen as small as 2 MB's).
