Unwanted "PROXY" Message

Attempting to sign off from AOL, I now have a Box in the center of my screen Labeled PROXY. It states further that the program has performed an illegal operation and when clicking on details, it advises that "proxy caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown>, etc. etc. HOW DO I GET RID OF IT? ( I HAD A PROGRAM CALLED WEBCELERATOR THAT LISTED "PROXY ", I DELETED THE PROGRAM, RE-STARTED, SHUTDOWN ETC. AND STILL CAN'T GET IT OFF THE SCREEN.)

 

Get SpyBot Search & Destroy, install and run. Scan and remove everything found with a red splat. If it asks to run at next boot, allow and shutdown and reboot.
