    Using Outlook Express.

Create new mail or just sending on old mail.

When we select "send" it goes into
    "Spell Check" mode.

    I don't want that.

Never had it before - only just recently.

How do we bypass that spell checking ?

    Thanks

In OE go - Tools > Options > Spelling and uncheck the boxes.

OE doesn't come with a spell check. But it will use the spellchecker from Office if you have Office installed.

Alternatively Word installed with Works Suite should do the trick.

    Thanks, I have neither.

Shame OE doesn't have it included.

    Pete,

Thanks a lot for that, seems I can't keep up with what I'm doing so it's nice to know that I can fall back on folk like you.

Let me explain: seems like I had downloaded that program "some time back" and whoops! forgot all about it 'cause as I downloaded it following your post it showed I already had it...but was not running it.

You can tell I'm not one of the fallen comrades as "age does not weary them "
