Have a newHP computer with xp. I have and agfa digital camera. I went to their website and downloaded a driver that they said should be compatible with xp. When I tried to install it, a window popped up and said that this was an unsigned driver and did I want to allow it to be installed. I said yes but My computer still would not install it. I contacted HP--they said they do not accept this driver. I tried to contact Agfa at their tech support and have contacted them 3 times but no response. I tried microsoft website but have no success with their tech site--they just refer me to Agfa which takes me to the tech site that won't acknowledge my e-mails to them. Is their anything else I can do besides just getting rid of my camera?

Set a restore point. Then, right-click My Computer, Properties, Hardware tab. Click the "Driver Signing" button. Choose the option to install the driver, signed or not. This is certainly not recommended, and you should put this option back to "Ask ", at least, after installing, but that should allow the driver to be installed.
