Once every hour, a dialog box displays this message:
Unrecognized files found in Windows 2000.
    Please insert win 2000 CD
or click CANCEL to leave these files...
When I insert the original CD it just loads the
    welcome screen and stays there...
    Strange...

In general, I don't see any problem with the win2K
    functioning... nothing goes wrong.
    So, what's that ?
How do I get rid from this annoying dialog box message.

    Thanks,
    Abe Oren.

abeoren - in your event logs you should have a detailed message about this error.

right-click My Computer then manage and event logs.

When you find one, double-click it open then click once on the icon below the up/down arrows. That will send a text copy to your clipboard.

Open a reply here and paste that in. Should be enough information to allow someone to locate the cause and a fix for you.

Meanwhile, just for safety's sake, run a virus scan using one of the on-line scanners like Housecall, empty your temp files and temporary internet files.
