unlinking user profiles

    How do I unlink the seperate user profiles in windows 2000?

    unlinking profiles

    In windows 2000 when I change something it changes the other profiles as well. Like when I change my backround it changed another persons profile. But it only changed mine and one other persons but there are multiple users and didn't change them all, thats what I dont get, so they must be shared or linked some how??:confused:
