Hello, I recently purchased an ASUS K52F-BBR5 notebook running Windows 7 Home Premium.
My question pertains to the wireless networking side. I currently have my home wireless network protected with a WPA-2 password and have the MAC addresses for all of my machines on the approved list. I have (1) Win XP Desktop running on a wireless connection, (1) IBM Windows XP notebook, (1) Windows 7 Home Premium Desktop, and the afore mentioned ASUS notebook running Windows 7 Home Premium. I listed the computers above as I am not sure if that information is relevent to this post.

Shortly after purchasing the ASUS notebook and getting it home, I connected it to my home network. When I did this I also found a router in the Network infrastructure section that does not belong to me.It is a Xtreme N Gigabit router. Is someone leeching from me, or am I inadvertently wandering onto someone else's network? If so, what can I do to remedy this? Attached in the link below is a screen capture of my issue.

:DWell, I am reasonably certain the problem is cured. I think that when I was entering the MAC address for my new ASUS notebook that I must have made a mistake with the router settings. I accidentally turned off my encryption.....and allowed a open router for anyone close to enjoy. The "cure" for me was to reset my router and start fresh with a new list of MAC addresses and a reasonably insane WPA-2 key. Just for good measure I found the MAC for the rogue router and entered it in the router MAC list as DENIED!
Although I am quite certain that I have solved the problem this time...... I'm sure that I will be back for more advice later. I just have to say that I love forums like these. They offer up such a vast wealth of knowledge!:D
    Thanks Guys!
