Unknown registry entry.

    I ran a registry cleaner and it found 147 entries that end in "ProgID ". My question is are they necessary?
    I have included a list of them in a text file below.

    They are Product Indentifiers/Identities - leave them well alone. Even if those particular entries are redundant removing them will not make any difference to the performance of your computer.

    I would strongly advise that you stay away from Registry Cleaners - they do no good and are more likely to do harm. The only 'legitimate' use of them is in clearing out references to an uninstalled program which the uninstaller failed to remove.
