    Can anyone tell me what a "NAPP file" is? I get a message about this file when trying to install a program, but can't find out what it is.

    What is the exact message? What program? Is this for Windows or PalmOS? If PalmOS is the name NaPP?

    The program is the eRecovery Management for an Acer Aspire Laptop 5610z. The message says "old NAPP version, unable to be installed on this machine. "
    The system is running Vista Home Premium.

    Thanks Whiskeyman.
    I'll have to see what I can do about this information. I'm not sure if I have the "built-in Backup Utility of Windows Vista, including full system volume backup to a HDD or CD/DVD." I never got the chance to make any back-up disks or a full system back-up. It was never an option.
