Are you using Yahoo Instant Messenger? I think there was a problem with version 7.2 that placed this file on your drive. Some people have stated that they found their IP address plus the IP of anyone they transferred a file to using Yahoo within this text file. It shouldn't hurt to delete it. I would keep an eye on what it contains. I don't trust using IM programs such as YIM, AIM or even Windows Instant Messenger. Too many security risks involved.

savagcl--Whiskeyman's explanation is the simplest. Otherwise there are several other sources--mainly having to do with website construction
    http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2004-31,GGLD:en&q=YServer.txt
which could be supported by the reference to WinMain
    http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2004-31,GGLD:en&q=WinMain

You can always put the file into Recycle Bin (but do not delete) and see if the performance of the PC or any program is affected. If not, after a week or two, then delete.

Promptly decided i didnt like it and deep-sixed it.

I'll put it in the dumpster for a couple days and watch it.
