In Windows 7 Device Manager I have an entry "Other devices" with an unknown device: "Network Attached Storage" and indeed I have a NAS (Linksys NAS200) connected via a switch to my system.
Everything works perfectly. I can connect the drives on that NAS and transfer data.
If I right click on the unknown device in Device Manager and want to update dthe driver via the Internet or via My Computer no update can be found.
My question is what kind of drivers am I missing? (all works fine) and where can I find the missing drivers? Even if I disable the device all works fine.

I have found the answer and solution for my problem::
Plug and Play Extensions for Windows (PnP-X) is a set of extensions to Plug and Play that deliver support for network-connected devices. PnP-X allows network-connected devices to appear as devices inside of the Microsoft Windows operating system and provides an installation experience that is similar to attaching a physically connected device to a personal computer. The Plug and Play Extensions for Windows specification describes these extensions and provides requirements and guidelines for hardware manufacturers to create devices that are installable with PnP-X.

    Thanks everybody for cooperation
