There is no uninstall of XP. You reinstall the OS that you want, removing XP from your harddrive in the process. If you have upgraded from another OS such as 98 or 2000, you will have to reinstall that OS.

    Hi Eric,

Found this thread while doing a search on uninstall.

I did an XP upgrade over 98SE last Fall and decided to uninstall. No problem (at first).

I'm now trying to reinstall my DirecWay software, and get a message that it's only designed to work on 98, 98SE, and ME. As I'm running 98SE, methinks there is a trace of XP I haven't found yet running around somewhere on the hdd...

    Any ideas?

    TX
