Uninstalling Conduit SearchProtect deletes NTLDR making Win XP Unbootable

    Thanks Broni. Haven't struck that exact problem --- yet!
    Now, if I could only find out why W8.1 "locks" the Hard Drive!
    There are a huge number of users showing on a Google Search who are slightly annoyed with W8.1 for "locking" the HD and getting repeat message saying to get the Administrator to sign in to cure it. They can't get the W8.1 to boot far enough for the sign in. Neil.

    Good to know broni. I've used both the Junkware Removal Tool and AdwCleaner to remove that stubborn Conduit crapware from a variety of machines.
