My trusty Epson Stylus Color 600 has suddeny refused to print. Just reinstalling the drivers does not cure the fault ( "Cannot start spool manager ") nor does replacing the parallel cable with a new IEEE-compliant cable. Anyway, why should it? The printer worked fine for several years and nothing unusual happened.
I think uninstalling it completely before reinstalling might help. But how can I?
I'd be grateful for any advice.
    David :(

Uninstalling any printer is fairly simple. First of all go to Start-Programs- (find your printer). It should have an uninstall option. Run it. Or, go to Control Panel -Add/Remove, click on your printer and uninstall it.

And if that doesn't work here is more than you ever wanted to know about printers. http://www.geocities.com/~budallen/print_troubleshooter.html :p
