uninstall

    I have recently installed netscape 7 and everything seems to be working ok. Can I safely uninstall previous versions of netscape?

    Hi kelliser,

    If you have sufficient HD space, I would leave 4.7x on the system. It creates no problem with Netscape 7, as long as you have created a unique Profile Name for Netscape 7.

    However, if you are pressed for HD space, it will do no harm to uninstall Netscape 4.7x through the Add/Remove applet.

    Before uninstalling 4.7x, save the Users and Plugins Folder. Also Export the Address Book as an LDIF file to your backup location on the HD. This may seem like an overkill, but you will thank yourself for doing this, if by chance you lose your Netscape 7 Profile... ;)
