Uninstall previous Internet Explorer 5 and 5.5?????

This is probably a true beginner question but chock it up to my recent effort to improve my computer knowledge.

I downloaded IE6 from Windows Update but now I see that in the Add/Remove Programs in My Computer all three versions are listed (IE5 and IE5.5). The only one I (think) I want to keep is IE6 but to do that, wouldn't it make sense to uninstall the previous two?

I would wait a bit before uninstalling them. If you have problems with IE 6 and decide to revert you won't have a previous version to go back to, and there does still seem to be quite a few problems with IE 6.
