    Hello z4u,

If msn is your ISP, and I assume it is, on the msn main page is an option to start a on line dialog with a msn tech. I advise you to do that. I can't tell exactly what you'e done so far, but it sounds like you removed msnmsgr and msn6 folders. Doing that removed a chance to remove anything in any normal fashion, its the Registry that's the problem.

Want to add that in cases of removing programs that are embedded in XP like msnmsgr, the best course of action is to invest in drive imaging programs, look around the internet on what it is and the different brands. Using drive imaging to make an image of the drive or better yet OS partition before embarking on any major system "surgery" such as the one you attempted is insurance in case it creates major problems - with drive imaging you can get back to a point where you can start again.

    Regards - Charles
