uninstall ie9 [from Vista]

    How do I uninstall windows internet explorer 9 ? It does not show up in the windows installed programs. Help !!!:confused:

    Why would you want to uninstall IE 9? - it is the most secure version of IE to date.

    You really should have posted your OS, but I'll guess at Windows 7 .....

    Control Panel > Windows Update

    Click on Installed Updates - bottom left hand corner

    Scroll down to Microsoft Windows - it is there - screenshot.

    My Operating system is Windows Vista. Sorry I was not thinking.

    I've never used Vista so cannot point you in any specific direction, but look in Windows Update for installed updates - IE 9 is an update.

    I have edited your title to signify the OS.

    Which version of IE 9 are you referring to .....

    IE 9 Beta

    IE 9 RC (Release Candidate)

    IE 9 RTM - the current download from MS or via Windows Update.

    In IE go Help > About IE
