I have lots of trouble with programs not opening because 'of long running java script "
I saw where you advised someone to uninstall java from Windows 10 I can't find Java in all programs or Control Panel. How do I uninstall Java from Windows 7? Or is it necessary in Win.7 Thanks . Johnny

Hi Johnny, Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features > Look for Java and Right click on it > Uninstall.
If it's not shown - then no worries.
Just re-read your Thread and your problem is time taken to open script? Neil.

    Found this about IE:
    For IE, try the following...

    1. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced.

    2. Check the boxes for "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)" and "Disable script debugging (Other) ".

    3. Uncheck the box for "Display a notification about every script error ".

    4. Click Apply, close and then reopen IE.
If you are using IE this may be your answer. Neil.

Neil. I followed your instructions and all the boxes are checked and unchecked as you suggested. Why is this notice about long running scripts coming up if scripts is not in the machine? why is it taking so long to open some programs? I can't find any virises or malware. am using Paid AVG Anti virus and Free Malwarebytes.

    Bedtime, see you tomorrow.
