I have a user with windows XP that uses a Dell Inspiron Laptop with Windows XP (SP1 not applied) and when they are trying to "Undock" the laptop from the docking station using the Start/Undock function, a warning dialogue box is displayed with the message "Cannot undock now, LPT1 is printing" I paraphrase a little but that is the basic contect of the messgage. Th eprinter HPLJ 5 is not printing or anything. What is that about ?

It sounds a little like a driver problem, you may want to re-install the drivers, or update the drivers to see if that helps with the problem.
