Underline Text in Word2000 when using a template

    I'm creating a Word template that I want the users to add information in sections on the form. One section I want the user to explain their request and I want the section to be 4 lines in length and have each line underlined even if they don't fill all 4 lines.

    Problem is when I draw a line, use the underline feature, when the user hits the <enter/return> key it moves them to the next line but the underline moves down one.

    How can I have the underline lines stay frozen and don't move.

    I think this works -

    Draw a line in your document and while it is still active go to

    Format > Autoshape > Layout > Advanced

    On the Picture Position tab, Vertical check Absolute Position (the value will be the position of the line as drawn) and select Page from the drop down list. Uncheck ALL the options below.

    This appears to fix the position ofthe lines and their position is not affected by hitting Enter
