Why does disk clean up take SOOOOOOO long? I haven't even let it finish it takes so long, what's with that?

And under C: - properties, what's the ups and downs to compressing drive to save drive space?

And I know there's somewhere under admin. properties to see what files were last viewed and when, for like if you're on a network or something, who do I get to that?

I've been in the on-site service business for several years. Every machine I have ever seen running disk compression suffered from program incompatibilities, spurious seemingly untraceable and unsolvable error messages and performance losses.

In my opinion, disk compression has no useful purpose and never has. I think the capability should be removed to prevent people from shooting themselves in the foot.

As I've said before, check the cluster size. Big chance it's only 512 bytes (happens when converted from FAT32), and that's a big NO-NO for me.
