    I got this problem just now after repairing my laptop from the driver virus. Upon switching the laptop, the wallpaper is all black. I looked at the desktop setting and the icon is just blurred. no pictures whatsoever. I can't change the wallpaper.

    Is there any way to restore this?

    --

    Just did a system restore and restored the desktop wallpaper. I have to redo the anti-malware process again. But what if it happen again? What shall I do to prevent it or get it fix?

    Thank you for your time.

    Regards,
    Chris

    Chris,
    Your wisdom speaks volumes. Why worry about wallpaper when oh so much remains to be done in your Malware Removal thread? Beyond the DNS changer and TDSS, your logs are anything but good - it's time to realize you have a very serious problem and concentrate your efforts accordingly. Until you get your machine cleaned up, posts like this just waste everybody's time, including your own.

    :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
