Unable to update antivirus

    Dear all,

    Something weird is happening to my laptop;
    I have Vista ultimate and Avira free version; last week, avira stopped updating tell me that my protection is optimum while I still have the exclamation mark on my avira update function.

    Did a clean/format reinstallation and still the same problem.

    I switched to Avast free version.. and still no possible updating with the Other HTTP error 404 - while trying 67.228.112.199:80/iavs4x/vps-8122400.vpu

    Pls advise.
