I am running winows 7 Home Premium and am unable to uninstall Nero 6.
It is not found (nor is its parent name "Ahead ") in Revo Uninstaller or Control Panel>Programs and Features. There is no Nero Uninstall application. Nero 6 is not recognised by Nero Clean Tool.
    Any ideas out there?
    Thanks

Hi, how do you know you have Nero installed?

Where does it show in the OS? Neil.

It has an entry in Start>Programs, desktop shortcut and a folder in Program Files (x86) - and it runs!

Hi, did you install from a CD or Download from a web site?
If you have the CD - has it got an un-install procedure on it?
It seems strange that it's not shown in Programs & Features.
Another thought, how about Hidden Files? Neil.

It was installed from a DVD which contains no option to uninstall/remove.
However, (something I should have thought of in the first place) I downloaded and installed a later version from the web which I subsequently uninstalled using Revo Uninstaller. Followed it up by cleaning the registry using CCleaner.
That did the trick - no version of Nero remains.
    Thanks for your replies.
