unable to share windows 7 printer with win xp machine

i have a HP 1020 attached to win 7 machine, when i try to add the network printer to xp machine, the xp machine can see the win 7 machine on the netwrok but not the HP prineter attached to it

Is the printer setup to be shared? Have you gone through the "Add new printer" wizard built in to Windows 7?
