    Hi guys

In a win7.HomePremium.sp1 system (part of LAN), a new folder was created eg NewFd. In its properties > Sharing tab selecting 'share' option, then pointing at "everyone" & hit "Share ", it's response "Your folder can't be shared "

Going to advanced sharing" option, click "share this folder ", when applying on any user, it response "An error occur when trying to share NewFd, there are no more end points availiable from endpoint Manager ".

In Advanced Security Setting for NewFd, Everyone is seen to have full control with rights inherited from root directory.

There are currently already 4 folders in shared mode. Moreover once a shared folder has it sharing removed, it can't be reset.

    What is happening? Appreciate advice.

    The error
usually points to one of two tings:
    1. A firewall related issue
    2. Malware

So if you think it is malware related, head to the appropriate forum.

To fix your firewall, download these two registry files:
Right-click and merge these in your registry. When done reboot your PC.

    Hi Arie

Using the latest anti-malware, found some rogues but after removing still can't share. However once the 2 reg is added, sharing is ok. Thanks again. This forum had always help.
