    I am having this problem, too. I have Vista home prem and IE 8. IF you got an answer, could you share it with me?

    I would appreciate it very much.

    Please do not tag onto an existing thread even though your problem may appear to be similar - start your own thread. I have moved your post to a new thread in the appropriate forum.


    If you are using Windows Mail (similar to Outlook Express) check this out .....

    Tools > Options > Security and ensure that 'Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened .....' is unchecked.

    I cannot confirm that route as I use neither Windows Mail or Vista.
