Several weeks ago I purchased a 60G external, pocket hard drive.
I tried to make it bootable with Windows Server 2003. Bad idea.
Couldn't get it to work. I was able to delete the folders placed on the drive during install.

Now, I cannot see the drive when connected (USB) to any computer.
I tried connecting to several computers. New hardware is recognized, but unable to see the drive using Windows Explorer and Disk Management.

What needs to be done to see the external drive?
What else needs to be done to the drive to properly store data?

    Thanks.
    TGT

You will need to look at the drive manufacturer's website for if there are tools and utilities to reformat the drive.
