    I am using Microsoft Outlook 2002 (10.6515.6811) SP3

    Problem
    ======
    I am unable to search my contacts for a telephone number.

    Analysis
    =======
    I had forgotten the name of a person but I had their phone number so I searched my contacts for this phone number with no result. Later I found that the name and number WAS in my list of contacts.

    Solution?
    =======
    How do I search my list of contact for:-
    Q1. a phone number
    Q2. a part of a phone number (last 4 digits say)

    This makes me furious!

    Not sure about 2002, but in Outlook 2003 you right click on the Contact folder->Advanced Find->Use the drop down and select "phone number fields only. "

    Thank you Steve.
    It's a shame one can't use the ordinary 'find'.
