unable to scan the doc due to below error

    hi

    i have a scanner hp lazerjet 3392 and hp scanjet 5590. The problem is i am unable to scan the document in both scanner it is giving me error message " unable to communicate with hp scanning software .please verify that it has been installed and working properly.If this problem persist plz shutdown your application and try again ".

    thks for providing this link .yesterday i resolved this problem . The problem was with the Mcafee Antivirus. I checked the log file and found "Blocked by Access Protection rule NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM **\SVCHOST.EXE C:\PROGRAM FILES\HP\DIGITAL IMAGING\BIN\HPQCXS08.DLL Anti-virus Maximum Protection:prevent svchost executing non-Windows executables Action blocked : Execute "
