Unable to read saved images

    Using XP with IE to save an image only gives me the option of 2 extensions - .art and .bmp. However using Opera when I right click to save image, the extension is .jpg or all files which is what I really want. It saves correctly and I can do what I want with it.
    Looks like an IE problem and if so where can I change the associations or whatever so that other extensions can come up to save the image. I have tried changing the extension to .jpg and the image won't even read anywhere. I have to get out of IE and switch which is a pain. In fact neither extension for the image is readable. Any ideas!

    Try clearing your Temp Internet files and then save a file see what happens.
