    Hi!

    This is my first post and I know just enough about my puter to be dangerous!:rolleyes: Anyway, I am undable to open pdf files downloaded from the net. The windows media player tells me it does not support this type of file. The more I read the more
    confused I get. This puter is less than a year old and this has been a constant problem Iam using windows XP on a Dell Inspiron
    4150. It would seem that this is a pretty basic function which should be supported by the software I am using but then my logic and computer logic don't always mesh.:rolleyes: If you have an answer for me I need clear step by step directions 'cause
    I have a closed head injury and have frequent seizures and a need concise step by step directions to resolve these sorts of
    technical annoyances. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated as I am constantly running into pdf files i would like to
    read and can't.

    Thanks,
    Madrigalsings

    Welcome to the boards;

    Once you've downloaded and installed the reader that goddez1 pointed you to you will be able to double-click on a .pdf file and Acrobat Reader will start up and load the file for you to read.
