Unable to open pages

    HIIIIII.........I M Having xp2 installed, im using mtnl triband with dlink adsl router 502t from few months, it was working good with no problem but few days before the network area connection showing limited or no connectivity, i talked to mtnl engineer they told me to make ip manual they given me the address as it is i done but there after it work for 2 minutes and showing connected after that it stop opening pages, i reset the router to factory setting but now it does not even giving me to open router stup pages also the connection shows connected the status light blinking proper adsl light and ethernet light also shows proper i tried to reinstalled network adaptor driver but no use i format the pc and installed xp again than also no use, no firewall on, no antivirus enable, command prompt through ipconfig & repair winsocks and tcp/ip also no use, my router and internet connection working proper in my friends pc. but not in my pc in cmd i give command ipconfig /release or renew also The operation failed as no adapter is in the state permissible for it shows i done every thing plz help me

    Try this sequence:

    1. turn off comp.
    2. turn off router (unplug).
    3. turn off modem (unplug).
    4. wait 30 seconds.
    5. plug in modem, wait 30 seconds.
    6. plug in router, wait 30 seconds.
    7. turn on computer.

    And once you get it fixed you'll need to upgrade to SP3 ASAP, as SP2 is no longer supported & vulnerable!
