    Hey All

This should be an easy one to answer, but I'm simply unable to find a solution.

    Problem:

I've created a desktop lock icon using the instructions found on this web page:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/security/learnmore/tips/schnoll1.mspx

However, everytime I double click the icon to open it (i.e. lock my computer), I get the following message:

Do you want to open this file?

    Name: Lock.Ink
    Publisher: Unknown Publisher
    Type: Shortcut

    Question:

How do I get rid of this message, so that when I do double click the icon, it will lock my desktop?

I'd suggest that you review your target and see if it's:

    rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation

Include all spaces and the comma or else copy/paste (recommended).

It works fine for me. Shortcuts aren't supposed to nag you for approval. :)
